TCM Sound Healing
Qi Harmony - Sound Healing Rooted in Chinese Wisdom

The Story Behind the Creation of the TCM Series
Master Woodie Wulin: "I was born in China, spent my youth in Australia, and later became a Daoist priest in Thailand. Carrying these multiple cultural threads—and after more than two decades of research and teaching in the field of sound healing—I’ve come to believe deeply in one thing: sound is a powerful gateway to inner balance. The philosophy of TCM Sound Healing, I believe, holds profound potential for human well-being around the world.

My collaboration with Meinl Sonic Energy began through a kind of serendipity. It’s now been nearly a decade since I started walking this path with Sonic Energy. When I first proposed the idea for the “TCM Series,” the team offered me incredible trust and freedom. From that moment, the process of creating the instruments felt less like design and more like transmission—almost as if the universe was speaking through me. Ancient Chinese wisdom was simply finding a new form: one that anyone could access through sound."
What is TCM?

Traditional Chinese Medicine is a holistic healing system developed over thousands of years in China. It focuses on bringing balance between the inner and outer world—body, mind, emotions and nature. Instead of just reacting to symptoms, it looks for the root of imbalance and supports overall well-being.
At the core of TCM is Qi, the vital life energy that flows through everything. Qi moves through pathways called meridians and supports all functions of life. Yin and Yang represent opposite yet complementary forces—like rest and activity, cold and warmth, or stillness and movement. True health comes when Yin and Yang are in dynamic balance. TCM also works with the Five Elements—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Each element is linked to organs, emotions, seasons and senses. They interact in cycles of creation and control, reflecting how nature and the human body stay in harmony.
The Relationship Between Frequencies and Qi

In TCM Sound Healing, sound serves as an external vibrational force that directly interacts with the body’s energy system. Different frequencies correspond to specific organs, meridians, and acupuncture points. When these vibrations resonate harmoniously with the body, they can promote the smooth flow of Qi, balance Yin and Yang, and harmonize the Five Elements—thus helping to restore inner energy equilibrium.
The frequencies used in the TCM Tuning Fork Set are carefully selected: the Yin and Yang forks are derived from the planetary frequencies of the Sun and Moon, while the Five Element frequencies are based on the traditional Chinese pentatonic scale, with tuning values inspired by the ancient Zenghouyi Bell Chimes, which date back over 2,400 years.
What Are acupuncture points (acupoints)?

Acupoints are key surface nodes through which Qi flows in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Distributed along the meridians, they connect to internal organs and regulate physiological functions. Each point corresponds to specific physical or emotional effects and can be stimulated to activate the body's regulatory mechanisms. More than 360 commonly used points have been documented.
In Sonopuncture, specific tuning forks are applied to selected acupoints to promote the flow of Qi, balance Yin and Yang, and harmonize the Five Elements—supporting holistic well-being.
The Art of Sonopuncture
The TCM Therapy Tuning Fork Set features seven carefully selected classical acupoints that you can begin using in your daily self-care practice. They also serve as a foundational pathway for further learning in TCM Sound Healing and the art of Sonopuncture.
Yang (126.22 Hz) → GV20 Baihui (Du Meridian)
Boosts central energy and vitality. Use when feeling cold, low energy, or unmotivated.
Yin (210.42 Hz) → CV17 Danzhong (Ren Meridian)
Brings you back to yourself. Helps restore calm and focus when energy feels disconnected or emotions run high.
Earth (128 Hz) → SP3 Taibai (Spleen Meridian)
Helps you feel centered and grounded. Use when feeling scattered, nervous, or unsteady.
Metal (144 Hz) → LU9 Taiyuan (Lung Meridian)
Connects to breath and voice. Helps when there’s chest pressure, sadness, or blocked expression.
Wood (162 Hz) → LR3 Taichong (Liver Meridian)
Releases stuck emotions. Good for anger, frustration, or emotional tightness.
Fire (192 Hz) → HT7 Shenmen (Heart Meridian)
Calms the spirit and helps with sleep and anxiety.
Water (216 Hz) → KI3 Taixi (Kidney Meridian)
Restores deep energy and inner support. Use when tired, fearful, or lacking strength.

From Practice to Presence
"My own path of cultivation is rooted in Daoist healing practices, and these seven tuning forks have become essential tools in my teaching. Sometimes, simply placing a vibrating fork on a single point can awaken long-dormant sensations—tears released at CV17, anger flowing from LR3. These aren’t miracles. They are reminders that the body holds its own wisdom and knows how to heal when gently activated."

Sono-Feng Shui with TCM Crystal Singing Bowls
The TCM Sound Healing collection continues to expand. Beyond Tuning Forks and Sonopuncture, we are now exploring the dimension of Sono-Feng Shui—using vibrational tools like TCM Crystal Singing Bowls to harmonize energy fields in space. These bowls bring not just tone, but texture and atmosphere. They work not through points, but through fields. Their resonance spreads like qi itself—subtle, spacious, and enveloping—helping regulate breath, mood, and energetic alignment between the body and its environment.

TCM Crystal Tuning Forks
TCM Crystal Tuning Forks refine Sono-Feng Shui through direction, sequence, and precision. Used for space tuning, they help establish a balanced and harmonized field within a room—clear, structured, and quietly resonant.
Beyond the space, they also support self-regulation. Yang frequency crystal tuning forks can be used in a meridian sweep along the Du Mai on the back of the body, encouraging flow, alignment, and a sense of energetic coherence between body and environment.
Sound Healing: A Modern Language of Ancient Wisdom
"As interest in TCM Sound Healing continues to grow worldwide, some of my earlier writings have begun appearing in English, including Sonopuncture and QiHarmony: Ancient Chinese Sonic Philosophy and Practice. I’ve been deeply moved by messages from readers across the globe. I hope to visit more countries in the near future and connect with the growing international community of sound healing practitioners.
I often say: TCM Sound Healing is not “the sound of ancient China”—it is a modern language born from ancient wisdom. It is not a replica of tradition, but its living evolution. I hope that everyone who encounters these instruments will hear their own rhythm within them—and feel the quiet presence of that invisible, yet very real, stream of energy between body and nature."
