Evatek
Handpans are well protected with Evatek, which is a reinforced bag. Evatek is shock resistant, with a thickness of nearly 1 cm. Outside vibrations and recoil are absorbed by the material. Rainwater can't get through the bag. In the area of the side opening, the almost waterproof zippers provide additional protection. The case is made of high-tenacity polyester which is stain- and dirt-resistant. If you still want to clean them once, you can clean stains with a damp sponge and mild soap, or with clear water.

A Handpan allows you to produce clear and pure tones by hand. These tones have a very relaxing and calming effect on people. Since the Handpan emits soothing sounds, it is perfect to be combined wih other meditative or percussive instruments.
Start to play
To play the Handpan, it is positioned on the lap. Tones or chords can be produced simply by striking one or more tone fields with your fingers. We recommend to have a look at some handpan beginner tutorials first. After learning the basic striking technique, you can intuitively start playing and creating your own melodies.
If you want to progress quickly, it's best to get an experienced instructor to help you learn the right techniques for the best sound on your instrument. You will definitely notice the difference.

Meinl Sonic Energy Sensory Handpans are made of stainless steel and are handcrafted in China. This material is characterized by a long vibration time, a rich tone, and a high attack sensitivity. Stainless steel is also recognized for just being water and moisture resistant.
Different variants & tunings
Meinl Sonic Energy Sensory Handpans are available in the tunings D Kurd (with nine or ten tones) and D Amara (nine tones).
Two resonant holes
The two resonance holes on the bottom of each Handpan are another unique element of Meinl Sonic Energy's Sensory line. These are positioned so that one faces the player and the other faces the audience.

Different variants & tunings
All Handpans of the Harmonic Art series have one central tone field and seven additional tones. Depending on your personal taste and intended use, you can choose from many tunings.
440 Hz or 432 Hz
The Meinl Sonic Energy Harmonic Art Handpans are mostly tuned on the base of A4/a' 440 Hz, but there's also a model with A4/a' 432 Hz which is especially nice in a meditative context.
